Longview USPS to Host Special Passport Fair

The United States Postal Service (USPS) in Longview, Texas, has announced that it will be hosting a special passport fair on Saturday, May 13th. The event aims to provide customers with a convenient and efficient way to apply for or renew their passports.

During the fair, which will take place at the Main Office located at 2336 S. Mobberly in Longview from 9:00 a.m. to , customers can submit their passport applications and have them processed quickly and efficiently with the help of extra postal staffing.

To ensure a smooth process, it is recommended that applicants bring all required documents, including:

* A completed Form DS-11 (Application for a U.S. Passport)

* Proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate

* Identification, such as a valid driver's license or government ID

* A recent photograph, which can be taken on site for $15 per application payable to the Post Office

Applicants must also pay all applicable fees with either check, cash, or money order.

The passport book and passport card are both available for application at the fair, each with its own validity period: 10 years for adults and five years for children 15 and younger. The less costly passport card is only valid for land and sea travel between the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, or the Caribbean, while the passport book can be used for most international travel worldwide.
